BugStop was founded in 2012 by entomologist Dr. Faraz Hussain, who returned from a postgraduate at the University of Reading and was horrified at how Karachi pest control was sold: "spray everything, evacuate the kids, hope it works."
He built BugStop on the integrated pest management (IPM) protocol used across the EU — identify the species, locate the harborage, treat with the minimum-effective product, monitor. Today we run six trucks across Karachi, all techs Pakistan EPA certified.
